  • Works started onsite for the Markfield Road Phase 1 project in Tottenham Hale

  • Haringey Council’s Cabinet confirm Lendlease as the Preferred Bidder for the Haringey Development Vehicle
  • Tottenham Green Market celebrated its first birthday with a food festival
  • A  Strategic Development Partnership with Argent Related to transform Tottenham Hale was signed
  • The Northumberland Park Partnership Board successfully awarded £210,000 DCLG funding to local projects, including a Community Voting Day where successful projects included inter-generational engagement, arts and culture, young healthy cooking, women’s projects, language clubs and increasing participation in sports and martial arts
  • The Minister for Vulnerable Children and Families officially opened London’s first specialist day college for young people with autism, based in Tottenham

 

April 2017

  • £2.371m funding was secured from DCLG Estate Regeneration bid to continue the improvement works in multiple estates in Haringey, including increasing access to jobs for residents in Northumberland Park and Broadwater Farm

 

May 2017

  • Consultation report on the TfL-led public realm improvement scheme for Bruce Grove was published
  • Tottenham’s green spaces were featured as part of the Chelsea Flower Show Fringe Festival

 

June 2017

  • A contractor was  appointed by TfL to deliver the upgrades to White Hart Lane Station
  • The North Tottenham Townscape Heritage Initiative Shopfronts Improvement works started at 791, 797-805, 820-822 High Road and 1-7 White Hart Lane and will carry on until December 2017
