MIPIM 2017

MIPIM is the world’s largest property trade event, taking place once a year in Cannes, France. MIPIM 2017 will take place 14 - 17 March at Palais de Festivals. Thousands of organisations ranging from local authorities, developers, architects and investors attend from around the globe.

Haringey Council has attended MIPIM since 2014 to showcase its ambitious regeneration plans for Tottenham and attract investment to help make residents’ priorities a reality.

In 2017, the council’s attendance was focussed on regeneration opportunities in Wood Green, with Haringey’s delegation attending a series of meetings, networking events and panel discussions to promote the borough. A diary of these meetings is published below.

We sent five representatives:

Haringey Council exhibited on the London Stand, Around 400 organisations were on the London Stand including 19 other London boroughs and other public sector bodies and private companies from across the capital. The Haringey Council stand consisted of a graphic panel, promotional literature and an illustrative model of Wood Green, showing the 'preferred option' for the future of the area.

As part of the council’s programme at MIPIM there was a keynote panel session on the London Stand titled: “Haringey: Place Leadership”. Speakers at the session included:

The session will be followed by a short reception.

Meetings Diary

London Real Estate forum 2017

The London Real Estate Forum (LREF) took place between the 14-15 June 2017. The event is organised by Pipers and New London Architecture (NLA) and attracts over 2,000 developers, investors, retailers and senior policy-makers for two days of debate, discussion and networking. Haringey Council attended, alongside 22 other London boroughs. We showcased the borough and our ambitious regeneration plans that are bringing £1 billion inward investment and aiming to deliver; 16,000 new homes, 9,000 new jobs as well as revolutionise our transport links and transform our health, training and education facilities.
