“Along the lines of” is a piece of newly devised music theatre from the members and staff of Haringey Shed’s Children's Theatre. The stories are influenced by the memories of the residents who live at Lorenco house.

“The idea stems from how inquisitive the children are and how eager they are to get to know others in their local community. The members of children’s theatre have a real knack of making everyone feel special and quite frankly as “young and energetic as them.” We also knew we wanted to show this with new devised choreography,” said Alexandra Dowson, The Children’s Theatre director.

Haringey Shed celebrates its local community and working with residents from Lorenco House has reminded them that there is a lot to tell about other members of the community who live in Tottenham and who have brought so much to the community. Some of the residents can face a number of difficult challenges to getting out for some leisure time, so Shed is delighted that their memories can be represented in this way.

Along the Lines of…” will be performed at the Haringey Sixth Form Centre on Saturday 12th May at 3pm and 5pm.
