Appeal for help

CARIS Haringey provides support to families within the borough living in temporary accommodation, facing homelessness or experiencing hard times. One of the ways they help is providing food parcels to those in most need.

CARIS rely on donations from local churches, organisations, schools and individuals.They are running low on basic food parcel items:

  • Nappies (particularly size 5 +6)
  • Baby wipes
  • Tinned foods (no soup)
  • Pasta/Rice
  • Tea/coffee/hot chocolate
  • Long life milk
  • Oil/Flour
  • Cereals/Sugar/Biscuits
  • Toothbrushes/toothpaste
  • Soap Shower gel
  • Shampoo/conditioner
  • Toilet roll/Kitchen roll
  • Washing powder/softener

Caris Haringey opens its doors once a month to distribute food and sanitary items to help families in need within the borough of Haringey.

You can access this service every month. Below are the next collection dates:

  • Tuesday 27 March 2018
  • Tuesday 24 April 2018
  • Tuesday 22 May 2018
  • Tuesday 19 June 2018
  • Tuesday 17 July 2018

Times for collection are 9:30am to 11:45am at St. Phillip’s Church, Philip Lane, N15 4HJ (Side entrance on Clonmell Road)

Please remember to bring bags to put your items in!

Caris Haringey also provides a weekly Parent and Child drop-in every Wednesday 10:00 to 12:00 at St Ann’s church Hall, Avenue Road, N15 5JH
