“The Children roamed from room to room, looking for something to do...”
A sprinkle of naughtiness, a handful of tantrums and an extraordinary journey to a strange new land...
Join Haringey Shed's talented young cast for an action-packed adventure to discover what happens when you cause a little too much mischief on Saturday 20 May.
Haringey Shed Children’s Theatre have been working tirelessly on their brand new piece of devised performance based on the well known book, “Where the Wild Things Are” by Maurice Sendak. Their incredible young performers have created the scenes, written the lyrics, developed the movement and designed the props.
With performances at 3pm and 5pm on Saturday 20th May at Haringey 6th Form Centre, join their inclusive cast of young people aged 7-11 years old as they tell their mischievous tale.
Haringey Shed is an inclusive theatre and performing arts company for children and young people. They provide a range of term time after school activities and holiday programmes as well as outreach work in the community, working in local schools, nurseries and community centres.
Haringey Shed’s repertoire of inclusive theatre techniques and their ‘no auditions’ policy strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment in which every young person has a part to play and is valued and respected.
They believe every young person, regardless of their ability and background should have access to a safe, respectful and creative environment. “Where everyone has a part to play” is a slogan that we are very proud of.
